TAITEIDEN YÖN ANIMAATIONÄYTÖS

On the Night of the Arts 15.8. Finnish Animation Guild and MUU ry are organizing an traditional and popular short animation screening at Cable Factory’s Konttori. In this year’s screening audience has an oportunity to enjoy briljant and awarded short animations from Helsinki based animation company Animaatiokopla.
Animaatiokopla is a 20-year-old company whose purpose is to produce good animation for the world and support the artistic, mental and physical well-being and growth of its members. Animaatiokopla’s members are diamond-hard experts selected for the cooperative through a strict screening process. Sometimes we make a ton of money and win prizes, sometimes we struggle with scarcity. The most important thing is a good mood!
The screening have been compiled from Animaatiokopla’s members’ own directing work over the years, as well as from animations in which Animaatiokopla has been involved in making. The animations seen in the show are very versatile in terms of techniques and subjects and represent colorful and expressive animation art at its best. Many of these animations have also been awarded at animation festivals both in Finland and abroad.
